A curable ailment
I realized something. I think… I am getting bored with anime.
*gasp*
Blasphemy!! Blasphemy, I tell you. In the past month alone, my anime viewing habits have been reduced to a very bare minimum. Yikes. Should I seek intervention?
I shared my non-worries to an annoyingly perceptive friend.
“Maybe not.”, said Miz P. “I assure you it is merely the calm before the storm.”
“And how so?”, asked this blogger.
Miz P’s eyes twinkled sagely. She arched her perfectly shaped left brow and laughed.
“Well, there’s this little thing called the Otakon that you’re raving about… Unless you’ve completely forgotten about that?”
“Oh!” was all the response I can give. I smiled sheepishly.
She got me.
For an insane moment, I actually forgot my trip to Baltimore next week. It is a surprise considering I have been sharing this bit to anyone suckered into a mundane conversation. I am told, my repeated mention is on the verge of irritating, albeit tempered by the sincere excitement.
Seriously though, I am truly having relapse in the anime watching department. It is a shame considering I enjoy maintaining The Blog.
The real culprit for the uber-procrastination: A stack of Michael Connelly and Jeffery Deaver books and not to mention, guilty pleasures including a couple of Julie Quinn novels. Hee.
