The Park

Yes, my karaoke madness continues… This time I’m tackling Ai Otsuka’s Planetarium. At least, I’m trying to learn it. Somehow, it’s building into a really bad version. And I’m not doing the false modesty thing. I know when I sing okay and when I don’t.

I have a hard time with the phrasings, breathing, and not to mention, the fast syllables. Argh. I need to figure out how to breathe correctly, or at least prolong it so that I can sing the higher notes. The “ano kaori to tomo ni hanabi ga patto hiraku” line… You’ll laugh. Argh. Hah. At least, my J-pop is immensely better than when I try K-pop. I remember warbling my way into Lyn’s Sarang Haeta Jana.

As you’ve noticed, it’s the current reason why I’m not exactly in my anime mode. Although I admit, I always have a reason for the recent lack of interest. Hee. But seriously, I’m like a woman possessed.

One more day to go.

Gah. My flight is on Thursday and I haven’t packed yet.

update: I finally recorded the dreadful song. I sang it too softly that it sounds unnatural. Plus, there were a whole lot of off key notes in the last part. Oh, and I can’t seem to upload it to omgsong. Darn.

Gah. As if my karaoke lurv isn’t enough.

Unfortunately to listeners in OMGSONG Karaoke, Yuki no Hana isn’t the only one being clubbered. Right now, I’m trying to learn Planetarium.

It may be an easy song to many, but not to yours truly. Let’s just say Im struggling. Well, at least, not as bad as when I try to sing Watashi to Waltz.

Oh, and yeah.
