Gackt’s music is absolutely gorgeous. And hott too.
Here’s a rendition of one of my favorite Gackt tracks, Hoshi no Suna, which translates to Star Dust. Hoshi no Suna is the B-side of the single Tsuki no Uta (Moon song). It speaks if love and loss. It is one of my emo songs, when I am feeling blue.

Awww… The song sounds so sad. You sing with a whole lot of emotion. I love Gackt and I think you did him justice with this song.
BTW, I am a regular reader of anime blog and kinda stumbled into this one. Hope you don’t mind.
P.S. I love your karaoke posts.

i am dumbfounded. indeed.
though i don’t have the slightest clue to what ten’s song is all about or it’s meaning, strange enough, it brought me to another place and time, past, distant, forlorn and lost.
Ten, while listening to that very sad song of yours, you have awakened the sleeping melancholy in me dead, inanimate so long ago.
And to Sadness, I missed you.
sigh….

Hi Carlo! You found the emo blog, huh?
I hope you aren’t creeped out by the karaoke stuff. I have a very low voice.

Hi Kirsten. Your voice, exactly, puzzles me. The transformation is really fascinating. The depth of your voice is quite a rarity. To me, it resembles Karen’s (Carpenter), only, much more mysterious, poetic and ethereal. I’ve been listening to it all day long yesterday, and this morning, nonstop.
I just love how the song leaves a certain pain and hollowness, which inspires artists like us. just like fuel on fire.

Oh my God, I LOVE THIS SONG. I am so so SO happy you sang this. I kinda fell off the face of internet for a few months, and hadn’t seen this before, so I apologize for the belated fangirling.

Hey, Naddie!! Glad to see you here.
Man, Asuca Hayashi has a fabulous voice. I think you just introduced me to someone I’m going to enjoy listening. I can’t believe she can sing in such a voice that young. Thanks for the link. I’ve fallen in love with the song!! I’m not sure if I’ll do a karaoke track but I’ll try to sing it. Heh.
