What’s going on with Eureka? It is still a fun show. However, the latest developments seem to focus mostly on romantic entanglements. The big Kevin and Henry subplots are almost an afterthought.

I am favorable to romance as the next person but I watch Eureka for the sci-fi and the quirky characters. I want to see dark Henry. I want to see what Stark’s ‘real’ motivation behind helping Kevin. I want to see how Jack reacts to the betrayals (from Henry and from Allison). I want to see the mythos behind The Artifact. Please, let the romance and chemistry build up naturally. I don’t want a force pairing (see Carter and new gal, Jo and Zane, Allison and Stark), damnit!

So far, the main pairings are making me bleh. I liked the first season’s romance better.

Coffee Prince marathon finished, thankyouverymuch. I’m adding this to my favorites.

So far, there are only two k-dramas that I REALLY REALLY like (the ones that I re-watch again and again): I’m sorry, I love you & Fantasy Couple. And now, I am definitely digging Coffee Prince. But I’ve only finished watching this series so I have to step back a little and have the excitement settle in first. If a month from now I still feel this emotionally invested and attached to the series, I can readily buy the DVD.

Also, Gong Yoo went up in my estimation. I didn’t really root for him in One Fine Day. As for Yoon Eun Hye, she rocks. I hope she gets acting cred for this show.

P.S. Let me settle down first and I’d rehash some fav highlight from CP.

I am up to episode 6 of Coffee Prince. And it’s fun.

Gong Yoo is so different from his angst/patented glare/non-expressions in One Fine Day.

Me, likey.
