Shopping is hard work!

Filed under: purchase — Ten @ 8:53 pm

Today is my shopping binge. I rarely get this type of day but whenever I get them, it is lethal. My feet aches. My arms are sore. My wallet is empty. Woe is me.

Or not.

P.S. My favorite purchase today is this pretty, pretty (not-so-sensible) three-inch shoes.

TV bits

Eureka comes to a close. It was enjoyable but unsatisfying. Just like the rest of the season two. Bah. Let me collect my thoughts before I enumerate what went wrong.

TV bits: Oh, Amazon. You slay me.

Reika’s recent post made my inner geek perked up. Unfortunately, I already have a few of those shows in my collection.

>> Buffy - Collector’s Set - I don’t have the collector’s set but I already have the complete series.
>> Angel - Collector’s Set - Also have the complete series.
>> all 10 separate season sets of Stargate SG-1 - I am a casual viewer but I could start collecting the box sets.
>> the 3 season sets released to date of Stargate: Atlantis - Not interested.
>> all 4 seasons of The Pretender, plus the TV Movies DVD - Oooh. Tempting.
>> Firefly - The Complete Series - Alas, I already have this too. (Because Whedon is love.)
>> all 3 seasons of Roswell - I have season one.
>> both seasons of Dark Angel - I’ve always wanted to complete this show.
>> The X-Files - The Complete Collector’s Edition - Hm. Is it a sacrilege to say that I do not care for this show?

Okay. How about including BSG? Or maybe Witch Blade? Perhaps Farscape, even if I am just a casual fan. Dr. Who might be nice. I liked that show Profiler too (although I don’t think Profiler can be classified as Sci-fi.). The dude from The Pretender made an appearance in that series.

So shelling out $900 for these shows is actually a great deal… Kinda. Maybe. Perhaps.

Thank you!

Early this year, I joined a(nother) AS karacom. And to my surprise I actually placed third, thankyouverymuch. Heh. I was able to coerce people to vote for me. Anyway, long story short, those placing first to third were to receive goodies from the planner. It took a few months, but it came. It finally arrived on my doorstep yesterday afternoon. And my price were snacks from Japan, like Pocky, some noodles, and a variety of goodies. I’d take a picture but I’m to lazy to do it. So just imagine it. It is pretty neat actually. I am SO bringing it to work as my food stash in my locker. It could probably last me a couple of weeks. Or maybe three, if I’m not too greedy.

So kcl822, thank you muchly.

I am starting to get annoyed with Amazon Unbox. It is f*cking with my Heroes subscription.
