NaNoWriMo Day 30

Filed under: nanowrimo — Ten @ 3:51 am

Cumulative word count:

As of 0223: Drum roll, please!

It’s official, baby!!! 50,260 frakkin’ words in 30 days. Whew.

So will I finish the manuscript? Or will it be abandoned in the depths of my cluttered hard drive? Ah, decisions. Which I will, um, decide later on. Much later. Because first in my agenda is gloating. I will gloat. And gloat. And more gloating. Dude, I wrote 50,260 words. Granted, it’s 50,125 words of crap — The rest is sheer brilliance, of course. And hush, I am in ME zone. — but hey, I survived. I am basking in pure awesomeness. Who would’ve thought I’d go through with the ridiculous amount of writing, plotting, and typing? And I still have half a novel left in me. And then some. Probably.

So tomorrow, Mr. Nano and I will part, temporarily, of course. The affair was short, passionate, and oh-so-sweet. He’ll be missed in the next eleven months. I’ll be Doris, he’ll be George. Same time, next year?

Hm.

We’ll see.
