As of 0420: 21,907. Almost halfway through. If my calculation, with the help of a trusty calculator, is correct, I need three thousand and ninety-three words to fulfill my goal for Day 15.
Ack. I should’ve ignored the Hollywood drama.
As of 2132: 22,399. Man, I barely moved a centimeter.
Cumulative word count:
As of 0403: Same as yesterday. Damn, I need more than three thousand words for my 1,667 a day quota. But I am in need of a break. And by a break, I mean, no writerly duties. And by no writerly duties, I mean, I am procrastinating.
Oh. My. God. Anime and Buffy-verse collide. Two of my favorite things in the world meet. Yet I cringe, tremble, and recoil.
James Marsters cast in Dragonball Movie. James to play Piccolo in the live action Dragonball movie. James Wong to direct, with the movie set for release next summer.
A Western take on Dragonball? Will I be gouging my eyeball by the end of the flick? Or will I proclaim Wong as a saviour.

As of 0517: 20,213. I am in over my head. As I’ve mentioned on twitter, writing even a bad novel is hard work. Like I said, I bit more than I could chew. But I must prevail.
Porn talk, part one. Since I am having BIG trouble moving my plot along, I was deciding whether to incorporate smut in the program. And since it was pretty much a requisite in the genre, I wanted to add it. I thought it would be easier to write. I figure, I’d throw in lots of caressing and rubbing. And add words like desire, pleasure, ecstasy, and climax. Of course, I have to mention body parts, groin, breast, nipples, womb, etc. I thought, let the characters be undressed and be aroused. Then make them do the deed. Sounds simple enough. Right? So I started with some kissing and tongue. Me typing similar to this, “His lips caressed and teased… His tongue nudged her lips apart… blah, blah, blah. Nekkid bodies, blah, blah, blah. His throbbing member against–” You get my point.
Was it hot, sweaty, and sexy? Um, no. Actually, it is more like, Awkward!. Porn-writing feels weird. And uncomfortable. And so wrong.
Mommy, I feel dirrty.
