Yep, I am still following the WGA strike coverage.

I legally download shows and watch streaming vids online, not because of moral reasons. I pay a couple of bucks for my two shows and wait for the ads, because of the convenience. And in show of support for the hard working writers, I have canceled my Amazon Unbox subscriptions for Heroes and Chuck. In the reason for cancellation box, I marked other and written, ‘In support of the WGA strike’. Also, I pledge NOT to watch any streaming shows online, until the strike ends.

So I’ll be reverting to the old-fashioned way: BT. Heh. Hey, if the writers aren’t getting any cent of my $1.89, the company won’t. I am leveling the playing field in my convoluted way. Think troll logic.

As of 0525: 19,245. Not exactly 20k, but it’s getting there.

As of 0522: 14,845 + more doodles + lots of doodles. I’ve been busy scribbling away, you see. My hand hurts. Ow. Poor me. WIth all my whining you might wonder, is 20k around the corner? Is Ten keeping her word about distractions? WIlll she fulfill her pledge this weekend?

As of 0149: 13,652 + 1000ish doodles. I am going for a ‘no distractions’ weekend. I figure, if I stay at home, I’ll be tempted to fiddle with the internet and angst about the WGA strike. I also have a new book beckoning me with its flirty cover. Eep! So I’ve decided to go somewhere and hide from it all. Sorta. I’m going for the sweet smell of 20K.

As of 0336: 14,845 + more doodles. The doodles were more than I expected. Bah, I wanted to do amnesia but the characters rebelled. Maybe I’ll try out the fatal disease, if they’ll let me. Heh.
