Many years after Buffy, Spike still looks HOTT!
I have SO MUCH lust LURV for James Marsters. Friends call it unhealthy.

Will I go this year?
I’m not sure. Yet. But I’m keen on going. Looks like it’s going to be an awesome year. For some reason, my fangirl blood is heating up. Maybe it’s a sign.
Plus, there’s JAM Project…
ZOMG!!! ZOMG!!! ZOMG!!! Holy mother of gawd!!! Rinse and repeat X 10.
Itazura na Kiss, a manga created by the late Kaoru Tada, will be adapted into anime this spring. I’m so out of whack from current anime trends. If not for this teensy report from ANN, I wouldn’t even be informed.
Just so you know, I am a HUGE fan of ItaKiss. I love the artwork. I love the characters. I LOVE the story. I love it so much that I’ve purchased the entire bunko collection. This series ranks as one of my top five favorite manga, ever. So this explains the caps and exclamation points above.
Itazura na Kiss revolves around a romance between an odd couple. A not-so-bright but genki (ahem) girl confesses to a genius-but-snobby boy. Boy rejects girl. Girl decides to forget the boy but girl’s family ends up staying with boy’s family. Boy gradually falls in love with girl. Sounds cliche, right? Yes, that’s true. But instead of a happily ever after after high school. The manga continues through college years, then through married life. In between the deceptively simple plot, a lot of shit happens. In a good romance/dramedy/slice-of-life way, I mean.
Gathering from the 15 minute trailer, I’ve noticed a great difference in the artwork. Okay. I am a big fan of the artwork so I’m a bit miffed on the significant change on the character designs. Naoki looks like a generic bishie lead. Bleh, I–
Wait.
Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.
It’s only a trailer. Nothing to get upset right now. I must watch the pilot episode before I hand out the verdict. Then again, I’m having trouble with the uber-bishified Naoki. Kotoko looks recognizable enough. Kinda.
Gasp! I haven’t been this excited with anime since Dennou Coil and Gurren Lagann. Like I said, I haven’t been keeping up. And I wish I haven’t closed my anime blog. I’d love to pimp ItaKiss to the testosterone-filled anime blog community.
So there. I’m excited. And over-joyed. And anxious. In the next few months, I’ll be looking out for raws during Fridays. Gotta add l33t raws to my feed again.
And one more thing. Can one hope that the anime will run through the entire 23 volumes?
Unconfirmed rumors on Whedon’s Dollhouse. I am excited yet anxious.
Here’s to hoping for awesomeness…
DWTS is back for another season. Yes, I am excited! My sister probably thinks I’m a dork for liking the programme. But hey, it’s damn entertaining.
This season, I’d be making a giant leap from a non-interactive fan to someone taking part of the cheesy voting process. My goal for the season: Ballot Stuffing. My winner of choice: Kristi Yamaguchi.
Since I am not crushin’ on any male specimen in S6, my commitment goes to The Guchi. Yep, she has the ringer status, but I don’t care. She dances so prettily, and I want a woman to win this season.
