Hm. A snappish morning for yours truly. I was going to make a big deal out of a comment from one of the animu bloggers, about karaoke nonetheless. At least, I had the sense to back off even if I’m feeling rather prickly.
That’s why I shouldn’t surf after waking up. I tend to be extremely grouchy in the morning. I hate mornings.
Having had some fitness gains made me rather complaisant with my food intake in the last few days. And it shows in the scale. Bah. So the solution for the day was to add another hour to Cardio day, and I chose Core (for its intensity) as an extra workout. I’m pooped but satisfied.
If I had strength for tomorrow, I might add another hour to the strength training with Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps and the dreaded Ab Ripper. Then again, with those many, many energy-draining push-ups might derail me from pursuing an extra exercise. Everything’s up in the air.
Man, I’m all gung-ho with this crap. Like I’m possessed. Not that you’d notice changes in me. When you see me now, you’d still think that I live a very couch potato lifestyle.
Nijuu Mensou no Musume, way to spark my animu interests. To new-ish series, anyway. (All I’ve been re-watching are old stuff nowadays.)
First, I have to say that I’ve only seen the first episode. But, man. You know that gut feel that you’re gonna be watching something potentially awesome. It’s the same feeling I had with Fantastic Children. And FC is one of my all-time favorites evah.
After absorbing the first episode, the urge to marathon the available eps was remarkable; Restrain saved the day. Instead of stealing time from my odd schedule, I have a feeling I need to set specific hours for this series. So I dub this coming weekend as the weekend of twenty faces, thankyouverymuch. I want to indulge on the show while my mind and body are fully rested.
Hm. If Nijuu Mensou no Musume turns out to be a disappointment, I’ll blame bateszi. Then again, the dude has excellent taste. Plus, he said the magic word in his review. He mentioned Luffy.
Woo-hoo to week six. I’m hanging in there. Barely. Core synergistics, as usual, kicks my sucky butt.
On the push-ups front, a minuscule improvement appears. Not a great leap, but significant nonetheless. Let’s just say the chest dipped lower than 30+ days ago.
Argh.
I’m too impatient for results. Thing is, I settled for a sedentary lifestyle for a considerable amount of time. And I know it’ll take quite a while to see the results I want. So now I have to suck it up and just move on. Except, it’s easier said than done.
Darn. Since living here in Houston, I keep missing out on all the fun at home. My paternal grandparents celebrated their 70th anniversary, complete with renewing of vows and a fun reception.
