Soundbites project
Hehe. I finally did it. I do not think my little project will go live to the not-so-adoring anime blog public. ;p

I am all karaoke’d out. I don’t think I’ll be touching a mic for quite sometime. XD
Hmph. I think I am beginning to be annoyed with the folks at OMGsong. It is starting to be too clique-ish. Bah. I believe the voting system is starting to discourage budding singers. I’ve listened to a few songs that were rated “Good” (7) or “Decent” (6) but my ears tell me they should rate higher. I mean, the site is not aimed at professional singers anyway. Why should we subject too high a standard? In fact, I lheard this one track that was rated “Weak” (3) when it should earn a higher mark. Oh, well.
Insanity is relative. Or at least, that’s how I excuse myself.
I submitted my entry for the AnimeSuki’s karaoke competition. It was an old-ish recording of Ai Otsuka’s Planetarium from last August. Have a go if you want to listen to it. I think I posted this here before.
But the newest addition to my omgsong list is Chihiro Onitsuka’s Arashi ga Oka. A preliminary version. I haven’t learned the whole song yet. ^^; So I can only sing the half. In addition to that, I couldn’t reach the high notes around 1:20 through 1:30. Cringe, much. I couldn’t figure out the smooth transition to falsetto. Argh.
Darn, I broke my headphone. T_T Is this a sign telling me that I must halt my karaoke recordings??
